Branch-Wise Eligibility Criteria
AFCAT Entry
- Flying Branch:
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR B.E/B.Tech.
- Ground Duty (Technical):
- Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics):
- 10+2 with at least 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics.
- Four-year degree in Engineering/Technology or Integrated PG Degree in Engineering/Technology.
- Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical):
- 10+2 with at least 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics.
- Four-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics):
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical):
- Administration & Logistics:
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 60% marks.
- Height Requirement: Male – 157.5 cm; Female – 152 cm.
- Accounts:
- B.Com with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Administration & Logistics:
NCC Special Entry
- Flying Branch:
- NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate with eligibility as per Flying Branch criteria.
Meteorology Entry

How to Apply for AFCAT 01/2025
- Registration:
Apply online from December 2, 2024, to December 31, 2024. - Prepare Required Documents:
- Handwriting sample, eligibility proof, ID proof, and address details.
- Scanned copies of photo, signature, ID proof, thumb impression, etc.
